Siddhas and Sannyasis

Sri Selva Sannidhi Temple has always been a temple where Siddhas roam. Siddhas roam in this temple environment, whether they manifest themselves or not. Many Siddhas from our country, including Siva Yoga Swamis and Murugesu Swamis, have left their footprints in this temple environment. In this sacred land, foreign Siddhas called German Swamis from Germany, Elephant Swamis from Britain, Fox Swamis from Australia, and Pig Swamis from South India have also lived in this temple environment at the same time. On the 26th of the month of Aavanimatham in 1965, a special news item about these four Siddhas was also published in the Veerakesari newspaper. It is noteworthy that among them, German Swamigal lived his ascetic life for the longest time at the Selva Shrine and passed away at this holy place in 1980.
